Emirates Hospital approached balcony8 to help them with a complete brand overhaul for the existing hospital, this included repositioning the brand within the UAE market, heavy brand strategy and a new brand identity.
As the existing brand was outdated and internally the brand architecture was fragmented, phase 1 of the project included heavy market research and focus groups to determine the new brand strategy.
Phase 2 included revising the extensive brand architecture and simplifying it to ensure it could be understood and easily scaled.
Phase 3 of the project focused upon the creative execution to bring the brand strategy to life. This meant creating a bespoke / handcrafted font and typography, that would become synonymous with Emirates hospital and have longevity within the market.
We worked alongside renowned Arabic calligrapher; Wissam Shawkat to develop a complimentary Arabic font and logo.
The final phase of the project included rolling out the new brand identity across a stationary suite, hospital literature, signage, staff and doctor uniforms, photography style and advertising materials.
