Three of Dubai’s outdoor malls, BOXPARK, CITYWALK and THE BEACH wanted to celebrate Eid Al Fitr with a social media led #SmileItsEid campaign.

We conceptualised, developed and executed the Smile It’s Eid campaign that resulted in a 15% increase in footfall across assets from the previous year despite it being the middle of Summer.

Result

The campaign also won Silver at the MENA Retail Awards for the best executed social media campaign for 2016. A hashtag aggregator app was integrated across the Facebook pages of all three assets that turned into a wall of smiles during the 3 days of Eid as entries came pouring in with visuals of smiles during the festive season.
